Jane and James were on a flight together to Singapore and they were
sitting next to each other; they exchanged pleasantries and got talking
about what they do, business etc. etc.. Jane highly impressed with
James’s business acumen thought of staying in touch with him, but forgot
to take his business card or coordinates.
Months passed, Jane was busy with her regular work and James pretty much was occupied with the same stuff. Out of the blue Jane decided to find James as she was working on some project which was related to their conversation on the flight that day.
She logged on to Facebook and searched for “Mathew James, UK”; (not a very specific search I must say, kudos to the attempt) :)
She scrolled down and found a familiar / similar face as the display picture and sent a friend request.
“Mathew James, U.K" accepted the request as he couldn’t resist her pretty face.
They started chatting and that is when Jane realized that she has befriended the “wrong”, “Mathew James U.K”
She honestly admitted the same to him and apologized. The new “Mathew James, U.K.” was a sweet fellow and he suggested that they continue to be in touch. For whatever its worth – he would only get to know one more person better.
They continued as “FB friends” for over a year and finally decided to meet again in Singapore.
Jane and Mathew James (new), are now married for 3 long years and stay in London !!
